About Julie

Julie is a qualified and experienced physio, and an Australian Physiotherapy Association Member. She has special interest in treating the hip, shoulder, knee and spine.

  • 20 years+ with experience

    Julie Crawford has worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for over 20 years with experience in the UK as well as Australia.

  • Evidence based practice

    Julie knows the importance of evidence based practice, having spent time as an associate lecturer at the University of Sydney and at Macquarie University. 

  • All ages practice

    She is passionate about keeping people of all ages active doing activities they enjoy. She is well versed in the netball knee program and FIFA 11+ for prevention of knee injuries. She also enjoys working with the elderly, keeping them independent for as long as possible, and does home visits.

  • Experienced class leader

    She has run individually tailored core stability classes for well over 10 years, and has a great deal of expertise in improving posture.

Home visits

It can be difficult for some people to come to my practice, due to age, injury or surgery. I can come to you!

Core stability small group sessions

For treatment and prevention of pain, improvement of balance, bone density and strength. These classes are tailored to the needs of the 6 or less people in each small group. Claimable from private health funds.

Posture analysis and mangement

How we hold our bodies while we stand, sit and move, affects our muscles, joints, ligaments and bones and can ultimately be the cause of pain. I can show you if/how you are holding yourself incorrectly and therefore reduce/resolve/prevent this pain.

  • Price per class, bookings for 8 week term

  • No more than 6 people per class

Home visits

  • Starting from $150 for first visit, 

  • From $115 for follow up visits

  • Fully equipped mobile visits.
